Boone was wounded many times standing up for his cause to settle Kentucky. Daniel was decorated for his service during the Revolutionary War. Eventually rising through the ranks, he became Lt. Colonel under George Rodgers Clark. Boone became agent for the Transylvania Company, and established the trade of merchandise on the Kentucky Frontier. Early on Boone helped James Harrod build his fort, and later founded Fort Boonesborough. Even though he suffered against insurmountable odds and grave personal losses, he remained steadfast in his endeavors.
Daniel Boone-
Frontier folk hero and master backwoodsman.

My portrayal involves Daniel Boone during his early years leaving the Yadkin Valley. Daniel was driven by a passion to see what was on the other side of the next mountain, which led him across many waterways and satisfied his traipsing ways.
The choice I made to portray this mans extraordinary life, has been very rewarding. My goal is to share information about this great man and help educate people throughout the many Counties, States, and the pathways he created. Daniel Boone left his mark on trees, stones, and the footprints of his moccasins in the history of this region.
Daniel had passion that no man could match. I too have a passion- To portray Daniel Boone's experiences and help others connect with their heritage by bringing history to life.
